Why 1 Gig is the Houston family sweet spot
A 4K stream uses roughly 25 Mbps. A video call, 4–8 Mbps. So why recommend 1,000? Headroom and simultaneity. The moment a game console starts a 100 GB update while two people are on calls and the TV is streaming, small plans queue up and everyone feels it. When upload matters more than download
If anyone in the house works remotely, creates content, or runs security cameras, upload speed is the real product.
